Kristy Morrill

I love historical pieces, and have done some the Pawtucket RI mill era and some watercolors of the Worcester, MA Diners. 

I enjoy working in different mediums including watercolor, oil, acrylic, ink, gourds, pine needles, raffia, stained glass, airbrush, murals, silver and beads.

I guess my artist's statement is that I get lost in my work, doing research and detailed studies prior to painting the actual piece. I love the mixing of colors to achieve what looks most natural and pleasing to the eye, and like all types of subject matter from portraits and nudes, to landscapes and florals, working with Native American  carvings and symbols, and stringing beads.
